How to make your CV an Interview winning tool

This event will help you to develop an award-winning CV. The dictionary definition of this is simply “a CV that gets you to interview.” Careers Springboard has created a format that works well for the majority of our members, as a template upon which they can add and nurture their own detail. Each word must earn its place to be in the document, as there is no room for irrelevant or verbose phrases or statements.

Once at interview, the CV is a working document forming a potential agenda for the meeting. So it’s a critical, dynamic and unique piece of information created by YOU, that is intended to sell YOU well and pitch your skills and experience for the right position. Our presenter for the evening will be John Pope, our own Careers Springboard CV writing guru. John has a wealth of experience and through his CSGX involvement, a command of what works and what does not work in crafting the perfect CV, across a breadth of sectors, disciplines and seniority. You could say that there is a certain etiquette of DO’s and DON’Ts regarding creating a CV. Equally, there will also be some subjective elements which you may decide to include or exclude. That will be your choice!
