Conducting a job search is invariably a lengthy, demanding and challenging process. The message for all job seekers is, “It’s a job to get a job”.  And how do we translate our efforts into success with securing a new appointment?

During this presentation, we will hear from four Careers Springboard members (Geraldine Bourgeon, Svitlana Syrotian, Terry Godfrey and Alex Chapel – THANK YOU ALL for your time!) how they achieved job search success utilising their CV, LinkedIn, networking, TMAY –  Tell Me About Yourself, coaching and interview practice, and much more; and which of their efforts served them best!
They will share with us their suggestions and recommendations for how best to conduct a job search. Their feedback will provide proven guidance and valuable encouragement to secure a new role. This presentation will be very interactive and we are hoping our members will ask many questions.

Presenter: Richard Lambert
Richard is a Trustee, former chairperson and Executive Committee member of Careers Springboard Gerrards Cross. He helps in a variety of ways with the running of the charity – secretary duties, fundraising applications, chairing Monday meetings, presentations, providing advice and suggestions. He is the first and principal contact for those Careers Springboard members seeking counselling services.
His background is the management of large scale, single and multi-site service facilities, in senior roles, in the UK and abroad, with operational, customer service and commercial responsibilities. Industry sectors have been food service and healthcare.
