Monday 30th Nov – Webinar: Time Management
November 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Time management is really all about managing yourself. Effective planning, setting of goals and objectives, setting deadlines, prioritisation of activities as per their importance, spending the right amount of time on the right activity, planning your day in advance and preparing a ‘To Do’ list or a ‘Task Plan’.
Don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do today – procrastination can ease its way in to your plans, and we can sometimes find that we look for the easier tasks to accomplish first – that’s just human nature – a way around that might be to sandwich more difficult tasks between easier ones, and then rewarding ourselves accordingly!
You can’t really “manage” time because there are 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute—and that never changes. However, you can control where and how you spend your time and take actions to ensure you are being productive. In this time management workshop we will be looking at three areas in particular:
- Where do I want to be. What kind of job do I want – specifically!
- Where am I now
- How do I get the job of my dreams.
