Although there will be several weeks with no virtual meetings, we cannot possibly take all of that time off from job search. If we were in employment, we would not usually be able to take a four week holiday, and the same applies to our full-time employment in job search. We are not suggesting that you don’t take a break at all! Only you will know how to strike the right balance.
Yes, it’s tough to maintain our job search whilst others are relaxing and enjoying themselves with some time off.
It may be more challenging because there won’t be the continuity of virtual meetings every week to keep us on that job search track!
The secret is to plan our job search activity now, identifying and concentrating on the key areas which we will target throughout the Summer. It is essential to be disciplined, remain focused and reward ourselves when we achieve those small steps towards success.
