Job search during the pandemic is not the same as before the lockdown. Some organisations are understandably cautious about recruiting when the economy is going through a slowdown
But there are opportunities out there.
Although there will be four weeks with no virtual Gerrards Cross meetings, we cannot possibly take all of that time off from job search. If we were in employment, we would not usually be able to take four weeks holiday, and the same applies to our full-time employment in job search. We are not suggesting that you don’t take a break at all! Only you will know how to strike the right balance.
Yes, it’s tough to maintain our job search whilst others are relaxing and enjoying themselves with some time off. Even tougher during a lockdown.
It may be more challenging because there won’t be the continuity of a Gerrards Cross meeting every week to keep us on that job search track!
The secret is to plan our job search activity now, identifying and concentrating on the key areas which we will target throughout the Summer. It is essential to be disciplined, remain focused and reward ourself when we achieve those small steps towards success.
Martin will help you by guiding you through his proven process to a successful job search journey over the Summer period.
