We are looking foward to welcoming you at our next meeting of the Summer Programme “Feedback from Successful Members” session, featuring Gillian Crabbe, Robert Shillinglaw, and Monique Millington. 

Gillian is a digital leader with a record of success in the telecoms sector, having traversed through Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Online and Customer experience. Her successful job search has enabled her to put into practice her passion to help people to connect digitally and ensuring a great experience in doing so. This has crossed over into the volunteering work she does with AbilityNet, assisting people with age or disabilities become more confident in using technology. She usese her digital skills with Thames Hospice helping to raise funds through their eBay shop.

Robert  is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in Financial Services for the past 20 years. He was the Finance Director of an investment management firm where he had worked for 12 years. He was made redundant in May 2023 following a restructure. In April 2024, he eventually found a Head of Finance role at a similar firm. However, he found the job market was different from when he had previously looked for a job and that the journey was longer and harder than expected. He is happy to share his experiences in how he approached the job search.

Monique has 20 years B2B sales experience, mainly in Events and Tech. Spent a decade running pubs with my husband.  A real people person who loves to engage with people in all settings. She loves horse riding, yoga, walking, dancing, eating and drinking.
