Monday 12th Jul – Webinar: How to answer “Tell Me About Yourself”
July 12 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Get the 60 second Tell Me About Yourself right! How to polish your response to this frequent and important interview question.
‘Tell Me About Yourself’ (TMAY) is one of the most common interview questions. At Careers Springboard we encourage our members to prepare a number of TMAYs for their toolkit a 30 second and 1 minute version. You can also prepare a 2 minute version.
In preparation of your own TMAY pitch, you already know who you are, then adding to that you should include what you do (your role, position, organisation, perspective of scale), and then what you do better (reflects your skills, experience and the value added part), in other words – the key attributes that make you stand out and will give you the edge over your competition.
What will I learn?
- A structure for your Tell Me About Yourself response
- Tips for creating an impact
- The opportunity to practice it with others in a supportive environment
