Biographies of the Panel and Chair for 28th November 2016:
Erin Berry
As an HR professional operating on an international platform, Erin Berry has been partnering with business leaders for 25 years; helping to unlock company potential through commercially smart People strategies and practices. Whether supporting scalable growth across a variety of geographic, legislative and cultural jurisdictions, or transforming siloed functions into “value-adding” infrastructure and capabilities, she has been responsible for leading transformational change for organisations spanning UK, Europe, North America, Middle East, Asia and Pacific. PRINCE2 certified with a degree in Human Resource Management and Business Studies, Erin has been a board-level operator drawing from a wide array of industry experience and global market challenges; ranging from blue-chip Pharma to fast paced SMEs specializing in enterprise technology and professional services, retail catering and innovative engineering design.
Jan Davies
Jan Davies is an accomplished Interim HR Director and Founder of Real Potential which provides Interim HR support and consultancy services to a broad range of clients including Bradford University, Atex Digital Media, Waterstones, Amnesty International, BT Openreach, HSBC and East Thames Housing Association. Jan is currently consulting to Court Pharmacy Group after interim roles in a number of Universities and Housing Associations and has an established track record in Blue Chips, delivering Change Management, HR Transformation and M&A
Stephen Martin
Stephen has just completed an interim engagement as Head of HR, Organisational Transformation for the CITB (ahead of schedule), the Industry training board for the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales. He founded and is a Director of Kimball Consulting and has experience across every discipline in HR, particularly within International matrixed companies. Formerly, Stephen was Head of HR Global Sales and Marketing at Sterlite and has led people transformation for HSBC and Deutsche Bank, following senior international HR roles with Chase Manhattan Bank and Diageo
Ian Williams
Ian has a strong HR background that combines 30 years of experience working with large global organisations such as Shell and small entrepreneurial organisations such as dunnhumby. Over the past 10 years Ian has been in senior organisational, leadership and people development roles. Ian combines this extensive experience with a relentless customer focus gained while working with retail organisations. This approach delivers relevant and pragmatic solutions which in turn positively impacts on the bottom line and organisational effectiveness. Currently, he is coaching senior leaders in organisations as diverse as M&S and Gazprom and tutors at Henley Business School
Andy Low (Chairman)
Andy is Chairman and a long term Executive & Volunteer for Careers Springboard. In his working life, Andy is an Interim Manager to the Consumer and Media sectors and a careers coach. He coaches for LHHPenna, an Industry leading Outplacement firm, having spent many years as a Director, VP and Managing Director of a number of prestigious companies. These include Cadbury, Hasbro International, Hallmark, Harlequin Mills and Boon and Protectoplast Ltd. He is the Founding Chair of the Executive Network.
