About Us

Since 1991 Careers Springboard Gerrards Cross has been successfully providing jobseeker services. We source engaging speakers to provide job search talks for members. We also provide free coaching, CV reviews, interview skills and access to counselling.

What we do…

We help managers, executives, professionals and graduates back into work, often in more senior positions and sometimes in a completely new career direction.

Our volunteer team have a wide range of experiences from different industry sectors at senior levels and as consultants. Programme topics are chosen for their relevance to help you find your next job effectively and efficiently.

We meet virtually on Monday evenings (during term time) from 7.30 -9:00 pm. There’s an opportunity to join the meeting at 7:00 pm to network.

But we don’t do all the work – Careers Springboard is firmly based on self and mutual-help. Jobseekers at Careers Springboard are most successful in securing a new role when they motivate themselves and respond actively to the jobseeker services, the advice and the direction offered to them at Careers Springboard.

We encourage our members to become fully involved in activities and to network with fellow members supporting their job search whilst sharing in and applauding their success.

A little background…

Careers Springboard Gerrards Cross is part of a network of Executive Job Clubs in the Thames Valley area which operate under the collective title of “The Foundation for Jobseekers”. You are welcome to attend any of the other meetings at Slough, Bracknell and Newbury. Please look at their websites for details of topics and meeting days and times. Each group has its own identity but we share a philosophy, best practice, speakers and innovative thinking.

As a registered charity, we are funded individually and jointly by local parish councils, local authorities and private funding which allows us to offer a range of services to help jobseekers.

All we ask of you is to let us know when and where you have found new work and to share your success with fellow members and the volunteer team. Your successes will provide regular opportunities to celebrate and motivate our Careers Springboard members.
